Life, I mean right? I'm trying to soak it up because at the moment it is pretty damn good. A lot seems to have changed since the last time I wrote about anything personal on this site, so I guess it's SUMMARY TIME!!! Are you excited? I am.
In the last year or so I have:
Turned 17
Been to a ball
Graduated high school
Both cried and laughed (mostly simultaneously) about finishing high school
Made a wedding dress
Had a crisis about my future regarding what to study at uni
Rejected an offer to study Veterinary Science
Accepted an offer to do a general science degree instead
Been drunk (but never TOO drunk, y'know?).
Gotten glasses (not because I desperately want to be a hipster, but because it turns out I'm kinda short sighted)
Got a macbook pro
Cried over a guy for the first time. It was just as pathetic as I always imagined.
Made self get over said guy. Seems to have worked. For the most part.
Said a (temporary) goodbye to one of my best friends who is at a college over 2700km away (Yeah I looked that distance up. What of it.)
Had to say goodbye to other friends moving across the county and around the world.
Filled a sketch book and a half
Got a tumblr
Wasted a lot of time on tumblr
Failed my driving test THREE TIMES. Still haven't passed.
Had many a movie night, including disney, harry potter, lord of the rings and a bunch of others
Went laser tagging
Zoo'd it up
Masking taped and re-taped my faithful horrendously pink flip phone
Been to New Zealand
Jumped of an 109m cliff
Saw Regina Spektor Live. Again.
Had a d&m on a golf course at midnight
D&m's on the beach at sunset
Made a bunch of new friends
Serendipitously seen Dolphins swimming within touching distance
Discovered some super awesome music
Done a single sit-up. I expect it will keep me going till next year.
 
I know I've missed an awful lot, but that will have to do. For now.

because I have run out of steam to do school work this afternoon.

Not sure where the logic for this set is but I'm going with it. Also I'm mildly concerned about how much I find myself associating with the quote...
 
I've been watching quite a lot of youtube today, especially the adorable antics of tanya (pixi2woo) and jim (j1mmyb0bba). Also did a hair treatment involving the strangest concoction of mayonase, oil, banana, avocado and honey. It smelt revolting but I kept it on my hair at least twenty minuets and then rinsed it out, but because of the whole oil being non polar and water being polar thing (HA I am SO intellectual) it kind of left my hair oily. However it is also very very soft and shiny so I'm hoping that will linger and the oiliness will vanish when I shampoo it tomorrow.

Mean girls is on tv, it's a good movie but I'm glad my school isn't like that, although it would make life interesting haha. Only one day of summer holidays left and man is going back to school going to be hard. FINAL YEAR! I'm going to need to seriously regulate my facebook/polyvore ect time this year and actually do some work.

So hot at the moment! We're in the middle of a heat wave that is going for at least a week of temperatures around 40 C.

@screamkaaath Happy birthday Pickle! You're still as wonderful at seventeen as you were when I met you when we were just nine. This is you're official last year of childhood so enjoy it like crazy! Hope you have a fabulous day celebrating in singapore and look forward to seeing you when you get back!
